Different plans from different dentists are normal: the same problem can often be solved in several ways. Patients most often come when:
- they were advised to extract a tooth and want to know whether it can be treated
- they have a cost estimate for implants or restoring many teeth and want to understand the options
- they have two different opinions and do not know which to choose
- they were advised root canal retreatment or a crown and want to know why
- they started treatment in another city or country and want to continue in Warsaw
What you get for PLN 250
- an examination: teeth, gums, bite, existing restorations
- a review of the plan and images you bring, including a CBCT scan made at another clinic
- possible options, including conservative ones or monitoring when reasonable, with prices from our price list
- a short written opinion to take with you
- answers to your questions before you decide
The decision is yours. You can go back to your dentist, be treated by us or elsewhere. You do not have to decide anything at the visit.
What to bring
- the treatment plan and cost estimate from the other clinic, printed or as a file
- the CBCT scan in DICOM format: on a CD, USB stick or as a download link. A screenshot or PDF report does not let the dentist measure bone or check the nerve
- X-rays and the panoramic image, and the radiologist’s report if there is one
- for implants: the implant passport (brand, size)
- a list of medicines and major conditions
In Poland you have the right to a copy of your medical records, including images, from any clinic. The first copy is free (art. 28 of the Patient Rights Act). Ask the previous clinic’s reception orally, in writing or by e-mail and request the CBCT on a CD or USB stick.
Please do not send medical records in advance via messengers or e-mail. Bring them to the visit.
How the consultation works
- 01
Booking
Call or fill in the form and say what the plan is about: implants, root canal treatment, prosthetics. Reception will book you with the right dentist.
- 02
Conversation and examination
The dentist asks what worries you and what you expect, then examines your teeth, gums and bite.
- 03
Review of the plan and images
The dentist goes through the plan, images and CBCT you brought and explains what they show: which steps are urgent and which can wait.
- 04
Options and written opinion
You discuss the possible options and their costs. You receive a short written opinion.
When a new scan or a full plan is needed
Sometimes the images you bring are not enough, for example there is no CBCT or it is out of date. Sometimes you want a full new treatment plan in writing. Then the dentist will suggest a separate service and tell you the price before anything is done:
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Consultation reviewing a plan from another clinic (second opinion) | 250 zł |
| CBCT (3D scan) | 350 zł |
| Extended consultation with CBCT analysis and printed treatment plan, 60 min | 900 zł |
| Joint consultation of 2–3 specialists | 550 zł |
CBCT, the extended consultation and the joint consultation are done only with your consent. The consultation fee is not deducted from treatment. We do not offer instalments. Patients from abroad pay the same as everyone else, no PESEL needed.
What this consultation does not include
- We do not judge other dentists’ work. We describe your situation and the possible solutions. If your plan is reasonable, we will say so.
- We do not promise it will be cheaper. The option we discuss may cost less, more or the same.
- No opinion without an examination. We do not assess plans remotely from documents alone.
- The consultation does not include treatment. If you decide to be treated, that is arranged separately.

Questions about a second opinion
How much does a second opinion cost?
PLN 250. It is a consultation with an examination, a review of the plan and images you bring and a short written opinion. If a CBCT scan (PLN 350) or a full new written plan (extended consultation, PLN 900) is needed, the dentist will suggest it and give the price first.
Will I get the opinion in writing?
Yes, after the consultation you receive a short written opinion. A full, detailed treatment plan with CBCT analysis is prepared in the extended consultation (PLN 900).
Can you review a CBCT scan from another clinic?
Yes. Bring the scan in DICOM format on a CD, USB stick or as a download link. If it is not sufficient, the dentist will explain why and suggest a new one, only with your consent.
How do I get records and images from my previous clinic?
Ask the previous clinic’s reception for a copy of your records and images, with the CBCT on a CD or USB stick. You are entitled to it, and the first copy is free.
Do I have to agree to treatment at the consultation?
No. You decide in your own time. You can be treated by us, by your own dentist or elsewhere.
Can you assess my plan remotely?
No. We give an opinion after an examination at the clinic. Please do not send images or records via messengers.
I was advised to extract a tooth but want to save it. Can you help?
We will assess whether the tooth can be treated and what the realistic chances are. Not every tooth can be saved. If treatment has little chance, we will say so and discuss alternatives.
Will you tell me my previous dentist made a mistake?
We do not judge colleagues. We discuss your situation and treatment options. If we see other possibilities than in your plan, we explain why.
Who does the consultation?
It depends on the plan. Implants and complex treatment: Cyryl Mickiewicz. Root canal treatment: Elena Steblina. Prosthetics and oral surgery: Włodzimierz Mickiewicz. Tell us what the plan is about when you book.
Is the consultation fee deducted from treatment?
No. The consultation is a separate service.
Can a foreigner without a PESEL number come?
Yes. You pay the same as other patients and no PESEL is needed. We speak English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian.
