About the clinic

This is not the story of a single practice. It is the story of a family for whom medicine is a legacy, a responsibility, and a form of creative service. Over time, clinical knowledge, academic discipline, and a passion for aesthetics have come together into a system of standards for patient care.

DR. CYRYL MICKIEWICZ: The roots of our family’s journey in medicine reach far back, long before I ever became a doctor myself.

In 1945, right after the war, two sisters — my grandmother and her older sister — entered medical university. One became a pediatric dentist, the other a cardiologist. Because my parents were studying and working hard, I practically grew up in clinics. My grandmothers were able to take me to work with them; I saw patients, played endlessly with instruments, and absorbed doctors' conversations. Medicine was something natural to me from childhood. In the eighties, everything was simpler, less regulated than now, and a little boy in a hospital didn't really bother anyone :)

At the age of 13, I performed my first surgical «operation» — docking the tails of 11 puppies of our spaniel. I had consulted at a veterinary clinic beforehand and tried to do everything as carefully as possible. All the puppies survived. I think that was the first time in my life I realized how important planning, precision, calmness, and responsibility are in medicine.

My father, a hematologist, had a great influence on my career choice. I remember evenings when doctors would gather at our home, and I would quietly climb onto my mother's lap and listen to their professional stories. The decision to become a doctor was absolutely logical.

I chose dentistry, with an emphasis on surgery and aesthetics. After graduating from the medical university in Minsk, I continued my education in France and Switzerland, defended my PhD thesis, taught at the medical university for many years, and worked as an international trainer and consultant for Ivoclar, training dentists from various countries.

In 2012, I opened my first private practice in Minsk — many patients became our close friends. During the entire existence of our clinic, we didn't spend a cent on advertising — all patients came to us through recommendations — what could be more valuable than an honest recommendation? All administrative work in our clinic was done by my wife Renata — a professional graphic artist — she herself no longer understands where the line between art and dentistry is drawn in her professional work.

After the events of 2020 in Belarus, our family had to leave and start all over again. I worked as a doctor with wonderful colleagues in Riga, and then decided to open a clinic in Warsaw. We had amazing specialists working with us in Minsk, and some of them joined us in Warsaw. The constellation of doctors in our family has not been interrupted — my son successfully graduated from the Medical University of Bialystok and has already started his clinical practice, essentially becoming a fourth-generation doctor.

Today in our clinic, we combine years of clinical and teaching experience with modern technologies. We have expertise in all areas of dentistry, specializing in complex clinical cases: implantation, bone grafting, prosthetics, and full rehabilitation of dental patients. Ceramic veneers that I placed for patients 20 years ago still bring them joy today. In our new clinic, we have a team of specialists for whom the quality of treatment and the patient's peace of mind are paramount. DR. CYRYL MICKIEWICZ:
